And Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”
And David had success in all his undertakings, for the Lord was with him.
He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people.
but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.
You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.

And David said, “As the Lord lives, the Lord will strike him, or his day will come to die, or he will go down into battle and perish.

And David made a name for himself when he returned from striking down 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt. Then he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became David's servants. And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.
