Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.
He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power.
So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,

Jesus said to them, “Watch and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.” But Jesus, aware of this, said, “O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered?
