A stone is heavy, and sand is weighty, but a fool's provocation is heavier than both. Wrath is cruel, anger is overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?
The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him,
if the men of my tent have not said, ‘Who is there that has not been filled with his meat?’
And Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan. Saul swore, “As the Lord lives, he shall not be put to death.”
