And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, “Hear, all you peoples!”
and said, “You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, full of all deceit and villainy, will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.” Immediately mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking people to lead him by the hand.
And in the hearing of all the people he said to his disciples, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces and the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts,
And he called the people to him again and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand:
And he called the people to him and said to them, “Hear and understand:
He who has ears, let him hear.”
Hear, you peoples, all of you; pay attention, O earth, and all that is in it, and let the Lord God be a witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, ‘Disaster shall not overtake or meet us.’
If these men die as all men die, or if they are visited by the fate of all mankind, then the Lord has not sent me.
