He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me.
and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place.
Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.
But if he says, ‘I have no pleasure in you,’ behold, here I am, let him do to me what seems good to him.”
“He trusts in the Lord; let him deliver him; let him rescue him, for he delights in him!”
For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.
but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.
This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses. Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”
and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
Like a stubborn heifer, Israel is stubborn; can the Lord now feed them like a lamb in a broad pasture?
Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations.
Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.
And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
