So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.
These they set before the apostles, and they prayed and laid their hands on them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
“And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who lived there, came to me, and standing by me said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And at that very hour I received my sight and saw him. And he said, ‘The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will, to see the Righteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth;
Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, nor take part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.
The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.
Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law,
And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying.
Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),
Saul rose from the ground, and although his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. So they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank. Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” And the Lord said to him, “Rise and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.”
And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”
But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!’
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.”
And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them.
Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people,
So Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” And they came near. And he said, “I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt.
