The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.
Now those who were with me saw the light but did not understand the voice of the one who was speaking to me.
And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great trembling fell upon them, and they fled to hide themselves.
At midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, that shone around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.”
Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left.
