And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.’
You shall restore to him the pledge as the sun sets, that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you. And it shall be righteousness for you before the Lord your God.
For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.
For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.
For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down)
And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.” But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
In the path of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.
Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.
Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed. And that was counted to him as righteousness from generation to generation forever.
You shall therefore keep my statutes and my rules; if a person does them, he shall live by them: I am the Lord.
But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.”
I gave them my statutes and made known to them my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live.
