O Lord, in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them.
I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress earnestly seek me.
and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
They do not cry to me from the heart, but they wail upon their beds; for grain and wine they gash themselves; they rebel against me.

But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.
