“To whom will you liken me and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be alike?
To whom then will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him?
To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One.
For who in the skies can be compared to the Lord? Who among the heavenly beings is like the Lord,
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the Lord of hosts is his name.
There is none like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might. Who would not fear you, O King of the nations? For this is your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you.
