In that day a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep,
Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, left in the land of Judah some of the poor people who owned nothing, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
Then shall the lambs graze as in their pasture, and nomads shall eat among the ruins of the rich.
“And this shall be the sign for you: this year you shall eat what grows of itself, and in the second year what springs from that. Then in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
The cities of Aroer are deserted; they will be for flocks, which will lie down, and none will make them afraid.
And as for all the hills that used to be hoed with a hoe, you will not come there for fear of briers and thorns, but they will become a place where cattle are let loose and where sheep tread.
