He feels only the pain of his own body, and he mourns only for himself.”
And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God,

The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.
“Man is also rebuked with pain on his bed and with continual strife in his bones, so that his life loathes bread, and his appetite the choicest food. His flesh is so wasted away that it cannot be seen, and his bones that were not seen stick out.
Why do you, like God, pursue me? Why are you not satisfied with my flesh?
My bones stick to my skin and to my flesh, and I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.
