He does not believe that he will return out of darkness, and he is marked for the sword.
And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself.
They will pass through the land, greatly distressed and hungry. And when they are hungry, they will be enraged and will speak contemptuously against their king and their God, and turn their faces upward. And they will look to the earth, but behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish. And they will be thrust into thick darkness.

be afraid of the sword, for wrath brings the punishment of the sword, that you may know there is a judgment.”
If I summoned him and he answered me, I would not believe that he was listening to my voice.
What is my strength, that I should wait? And what is my end, that I should be patient?
And while he was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him and said, “This trouble is from the Lord! Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”
