He will not look upon the rivers, the streams flowing with honey and curds.
He made him ride on the high places of the land, and he ate the produce of the field, and he suckled him with honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock. Curds from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of Bashan and goats, with the very finest of the wheat— and you drank foaming wine made from the blood of the grape.

when my steps were washed with butter, and the rock poured out for me streams of oil!

He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. and because of the abundance of milk that they give, he will eat curds, for everyone who is left in the land will eat curds and honey.
He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.
But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.
Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned said to the man of God, “If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” But he said, “You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”
