Is not your evil abundant? There is no end to your iniquities.
For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.
Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults.
He burned with anger also at Job's three friends because they had found no answer, although they had declared Job to be in the wrong.
“Behold, I know your thoughts and your schemes to wrong me.
Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself, for emptiness will be his payment. It will be paid in full before his time, and his branch will not be green. He will shake off his unripe grape like the vine, and cast off his blossom like the olive tree. For the company of the godless is barren, and fire consumes the tents of bribery.
For your iniquity teaches your mouth, and you choose the tongue of the crafty. Your own mouth condemns you, and not I; your own lips testify against you.
If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and let not injustice dwell in your tents.

The strong lion perishes for lack of prey, and the cubs of the lioness are scattered.
