Oh, that I knew where I might find him, that I might come even to his seat!

that he would argue the case of a man with God, as a son of man does with his neighbor.
But I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to argue my case with God.
Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,
that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.

He who argues with God, let him answer it.” Then Job answered the Lord and said: “Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth. I have spoken once, and I will not answer; twice, but I will proceed no further.”
Oh, that I had one to hear me! (Here is my signature! Let the Almighty answer me!) Oh, that I had the indictment written by my adversary! Surely I would carry it on my shoulder; I would bind it on me as a crown; I would give him an account of all my steps; like a prince I would approach him.
