The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”
“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
And a young man named Eutychus, sitting at the window, sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked still longer. And being overcome by sleep, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead. But Paul went down and bent over him, and taking him in his arms, said, “Do not be alarmed, for his life is in him.” And when Paul had gone up and had broken bread and eaten, he conversed with them a long while, until daybreak, and so departed. And they took the youth away alive, and were not a little comforted.
I and the Father are one.”
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.
And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.
The Lord kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.
So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.
And he strictly charged them that no one should know this, and told them to give her something to eat.
I shall ransom them from the power of Sheol; I shall redeem them from Death. O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from my eyes.
And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.” So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a sound, and behold, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in.
Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days.”
