I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me,
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.
And no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, just as Aaron was. So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”;
I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.
For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.
So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”
Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

For before these days Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. After him Judas the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and drew away some of the people after him. He too perished, and all who followed him were scattered.
Are you not the Egyptian, then, who recently stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand men of the Assassins out into the wilderness?”
Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your bosom and pressed your young breasts.”
