And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!”
And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
And the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valor.”
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.
while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice. He made me understand, speaking with me and saying, “O Daniel, I have now come out to give you insight and understanding. At the beginning of your pleas for mercy a word went out, and I have come to tell it to you, for you are greatly loved. Therefore consider the word and understand the vision.
for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.”
and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”
As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
“Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
“Most blessed of women be Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, of tent-dwelling women most blessed.
But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
Take with you words and return to the Lord; say to him, “Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, and we will pay with bulls the vows of our lips.
Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you.
