And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.”
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”
Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”
And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.”
They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”
So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”
and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”
He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter). The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?”
And he said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,
