And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.
who alone stretched out the heavens and trampled the waves of the sea;
When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened.
And he saw that they were making headway painfully, for the wind was against them. And about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. He meant to pass by them,
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.
If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants!
The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty!
He lays the beams of his chambers on the waters; he makes the clouds his chariot; he rides on the wings of the wind;
And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven
He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land,
Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, “Go, take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
