Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,
and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”
Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
The greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave,
