And they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

So the band of soldiers and their captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound him.

When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest's house, and Peter was following at a distance.
Then those who had seized Jesus led him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders had gathered.
For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.
The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree.
let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well.
But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.
Annas then sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
And they laid hands on him and seized him. But one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. And Jesus said to them, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. But let the Scriptures be fulfilled.” And they all left him and fled.
Jesus said to him, “Friend, do what you came to do.” Then they came up and laid hands on Jesus and seized him.
