His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes,
and his clothes became radiant, intensely white, as no one on earth could bleach them.
And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed.
After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory.

And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings. Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus:
he makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire.
