Your hand shall be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.
O Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them.
Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you.
And the peoples will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them in the Lord's land as male and female slaves. They will take captive those who were their captors, and rule over those who oppressed them. And the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.
“Now I will arise,” says the Lord, “now I will lift myself up; now I will be exalted.
I will turn my hand against you and will smelt away your dross as with lye and remove all your alloy.
Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
