The people of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash, Aija, Bethel and its villages,
He has come to Aiath; he has passed through Migron; at Michmash he stores his baggage;

Samuel said, “What have you done?” And Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattering from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines had mustered at Michmash,
Chephar-ammoni, Ophni, Geba—twelve cities with their villages:
From there the boundary passes along southward in the direction of Luz, to the shoulder of Luz (that is, Bethel), then the boundary goes down to Ataroth-addar, on the mountain that lies south of Lower Beth-horon.
So Joshua sent them out. And they went to the place of ambush and lay between Bethel and Ai, to the west of Ai, but Joshua spent that night among the people.
He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.
From there he moved to the hill country on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. And there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord.
And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the pass of Michmash.
