So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.
Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
Now when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry and greatly enraged, and he jeered at the Jews. Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?”
