and from Bamoth to the valley lying in the region of Moab by the top of Pisgah that looks down on the desert.
So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, which overlooks the desert.
Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan,
together with all the Arabah on the east side of the Jordan as far as the Sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.
Go up to the top of Pisgah and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward, and look at it with your eyes, for you shall not go over this Jordan.
Beyond the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses undertook to explain this law, saying,
they camped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab. And the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
These were those listed by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who listed the people of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
And he took him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.
Then the people of Israel set out and camped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho.
