And Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not send to you to call you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to honor you?”
Therefore now flee to your own place. I said, ‘I will certainly honor you,’ but the Lord has held you back from honor.”
How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”
For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up,
And they came to Balaam and said to him, “Thus says Balak the son of Zippor: ‘Let nothing hinder you from coming to me, for I will surely do you great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do. Come, curse this people for me.’”
