To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Be not silent, O God of my praise!
Of David. To you, O Lord, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.
A Song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God!
He is your praise. He is your God, who has done for you these great and terrifying things that your eyes have seen.
The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.
For a long time I have held my peace; I have kept still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor; I will gasp and pant.
You are my God, and I will give thanks to you; you are my God; I will extol you.
You have seen, O Lord; be not silent! O Lord, be not far from me! Awake and rouse yourself for my vindication, for my cause, my God and my Lord!
