Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!
A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!
And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the voice of his servant? Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love. I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.
Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.
They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat. Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them. O Israel, trust in the Lord! For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.
Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight.
Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.
Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth! Young men and maidens together, old men and children! Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the Lord!
I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.
Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
their heart is unfeeling like fat, but I delight in your law. It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes. The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.
