Woe to me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech traded with you; they exchanged human beings and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.
These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, named in the order of their birth: Nebaioth, the firstborn of Ishmael; and Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
I am very dark, but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.

Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favored dealers in lambs, rams, and goats; in these they did business with you.

Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down. Thus says the Lord: “Rise up, advance against Kedar! Destroy the people of the east! Their tents and their flocks shall be taken, their curtains and all their goods; their camels shall be led away from them, and men shall cry to them: ‘Terror on every side!’
Woe is me, my mother, that you bore me, a man of strife and contention to the whole land! I have not lent, nor have I borrowed, yet all of them curse me.
Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit, they refuse to know me, declares the Lord.
