who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free;
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
God settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Do not rob the poor, because he is poor, or crush the afflicted at the gate, for the Lord will plead their cause and rob of life those who rob them.

Bring me out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name! The righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me.
For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons,

Do not move an ancient landmark or enter the fields of the fatherless, for their Redeemer is strong; he will plead their cause against you.
The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing.
he who gives food to all flesh, for his steadfast love endures forever.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts in two the bars of iron.

May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor!
“Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord; “I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”
But you do see, for you note mischief and vexation, that you may take it into your hands; to you the helpless commits himself; you have been the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call his wickedness to account till you find none.
