Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me!
O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.
Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray.
To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!
