Awake! Why are you sleeping, O Lord? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever!
Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a strong man shouting because of wine.
Arise, O Lord, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies; awake for me; you have appointed a judgment.
A Maskil of Asaph. O God, why do you cast us off forever? Why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?
Awake and rouse yourself for my vindication, for my cause, my God and my Lord!
But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon?
O Lord, why do you cast my soul away? Why do you hide your face from me?

for no fault of mine, they run and make ready. Awake, come to meet me, and see! You, Lord God of hosts, are God of Israel. Rouse yourself to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. Selah
But you have rejected us and disgraced us and have not gone out with our armies.
