and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.
When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons,
You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.
And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

I will offer to you burnt offerings of fattened animals, with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams; I will make an offering of bulls and goats. Selah Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue.
The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!”
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
