For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be lighted with the light of life.
And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.
