and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.

Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
O Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone we bring to remembrance.

O Lord, I am your servant; I am your servant, the son of your maidservant. You have loosed my bonds.
Were you a bondservant when called? Do not be concerned about it. (But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity.) For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ.
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.
