And Hadad found great favor in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him in marriage the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
and rescued him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.
And they came into the land of Egypt, for they did not obey the voice of the Lord. And they arrived at Tahpanhes. And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphenath-paneah. And he gave him in marriage Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On. So Joseph went out over the land of Egypt.
But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had.
and when he was exposed, Pharaoh's daughter adopted him and brought him up as her own son.
