My words declare the uprightness of my heart, and what my lips know they speak sincerely.
my lips will not speak falsehood, and my tongue will not utter deceit.
For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive, but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.
There is gold and abundance of costly stones, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so the hearts of fools.
The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly.
for my mouth will utter truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them.
The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.
“Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
I will get my knowledge from afar and ascribe righteousness to my Maker. For truly my words are not false; one who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
“Should a wise man answer with windy knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
“But now, be pleased to look at me, for I will not lie to your face.
