you who hate the good and love the evil, who tear the skin from off my people and their flesh from off their bones,
Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.
Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive against them.
Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
What do you mean by crushing my people, by grinding the face of the poor?” declares the Lord God of hosts.
But Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the Lord.

Ahab said to Elijah, “Have you found me, O my enemy?” He answered, “I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do what is evil in the sight of the Lord.
heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
“You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered,

Her officials within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves that leave nothing till the morning.
Hear this, you who trample on the needy and bring the poor of the land to an end, saying, “When will the new moon be over, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great and deal deceitfully with false balances, that we may buy the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals and sell the chaff of the wheat?”
They hate him who reproves in the gate, and they abhor him who speaks the truth. Therefore because you trample on the poor and you exact taxes of grain from him, you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink their wine. For I know how many are your transgressions and how great are your sins— you who afflict the righteous, who take a bribe, and turn aside the needy in the gate. Therefore he who is prudent will keep silent in such a time, for it is an evil time. Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said.
You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep.
Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you? I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.
in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
